Bangladesh dashing opener Tamim Iqbal has returned home from the United Arab Emirates.
An aircraft carrying the left-handed batsman landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this evening.
He sustained fracturing injury to his left wrist during Bangladesh’s Asia Cup opening match against Sri Lanka on Saturday and later has been ruled out of the entire tournament.
Despite his injury, the southpaw came out to bat after
the fall of the ninth wicket and essentially batted with one arm during the first match with Sri Lanka.
