Zimbabwe all rounder Sikandar Raza has dismissed Liton Das with 23 runs off 75 after the opener stitched a 56-run stand for the first wicket with Imrul Kayes in the First session of the Day-4 play.
Bangladesh’s left-arm spinner Taijul Islam has bagged 11 wickets for the match as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 181 in their second innings on Day 3 of the 1st Test in Zimbabwe tour of Bangladesh at Sylhet.
They have managed decent enough runs in the second innings of the two-match Test series against the home side.
Without Tamim Iqbal and allrounder Shakib Bangladesh would have to show real resolve to chase this down as the visitors bowled Bangladesh out for 143.
Bangladesh have responded with 26 runs and now need 295 runs to win after the end of the Day 3, raising hopes of the historic chase when umpires decided no further play is possible due to bad light.
