Bangladesh smasher Mushfiqur Rahim now records his second Test double century against the visitors, keeping Tigers in command in the second Test in Dhaka.

Mushfiqur Rahim is the first keeper to score two double-hundreds in Test history.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah get day two started with ease in the second Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur after Mushfiqur Rahim completed his sixth Test hundred against the visitors during the first day.

Mominul and Rahim strung together a noteworthy 266-run stand to put Bangladesh in the ascendancy at stumps on Day 1 while this is the sixth Test century for Bangladesh's prolific performer.

The right-handed batsman scored 111 runs off 231-balls smashing nine boundaries to keep his wicket unhurt as Bangladesh finished the first day in a high scoring 303 for 5.

Bangladesh had won the toss and elected to bat first against Zimbabwe in the 2nd Test while it was a debut for Bangladesh's Mohammad Mithun and Khaled Ahmed, who, along with Mustafizur Rahman, replace Najmul Hossain Shanto, Abu Jayed and Nazmul Islam.
