Local manufacturer Walton has released country’s first-ever made 18:9 new generation full view display smartphone which they claimed to be the best budget phone in its range.

The Primo EF7 features a 4.95-inch wider screen with 960X480 resolution that bears 2.5D curved glass, a press release e-mailed by Senior Assistant General Manager of Creative and Publications Department of Walton Group Augustin Sujan Barai has confirmed.

Sources at Walton said, the 3G-enabled dual SIM supported smartphone comes in four attractive colours of Black, Blue, Gold and Metallic Gold and is available at all Walton Plaza, brand and retail outlets across the country at a price of 4,499 BDT.

Asifur Rahman Khan, chief of Walton cellular phone marketing division, said the smartphone has been manufactured at its own plant of Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd. in Chandra of Gazipur.

Terming it as the most affordable full view display smartphone of the country, he said equipped with a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor, 1 GB of DDR3 RAM with 8 GB ROM (expandable up to 32 GB), the Primo EF7 features Mali-400 as GPU.

It has a BSI 5MP rear camera with LED flash while bears another 2MP front camera for selfies. Users can choose a set of attractive camera features including Digital Zoom, Self-timer, Face Beauty, Face Detection, Touch Shot, HDR, Panorama, GIF etc.

The phone runs on Android Nougat 7.0 and features a 2100 mAh li-ion battery for sufficient power back-up.

Some other attractive features of the smartphone are OTG, Integrated Battery Saver, Spilt Screen and HD video playback.
