Local handset maker Walton has launched three models of 4G smartphones in country’s tech market featuring 18:9 aspect ratio full-view 2.5D curved glass displays and Android’s latest version 8.1 Oreo.
The newly launched devices of Primo series, S6 dual, GM3, H7s and GM3+ are priced at 14,990; 9,199 and 8,499 BDT and available at all Walton Plaza, brand and retail outlets across the country, Senior Assistant General Manager of Creative and Publications Department of Walton Augustin Sujan Barai has confirmed this through an e-mail message.
Asifur Rahman Khan, chief of Walton cellular phone marketing division, said the 4G smartphones have been manufactured at Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd. in Chandra of Gazipur and come in different configuration and price range considering the affordability of people with different income level.
The Primo S6 dual features a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display with 1.5 GHz Quad Core processor, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 32GB internal storage and PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU, 3,500 mAh battery, 13 and 2-megapixel dual PDAF rear and 8-megapixel front cameras with LED flash on both sides along with face unlock, fingerprint sensor and OTG support.
The Primo H7s comes with a 5.45-inch IPS display with 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU, 3,000 mAh battery and 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras with LED flash on both sides along with face unlock, fingerprint sensor and OTG support.
The Primo GM3+ bears a 5.34-inch IPS display with 1.25 GHz Quad Core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and Mali-T720 GPU, 4,000 mAh battery, 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras with LED flash on both sides, fingerprint sensor and OTG support.
