The 12th Assistant Judge and Family Court in Dhaka today has passed an order giving popular television actress Azmeri Haque Badhon full custody of her daughter on Monday (today).
The Bangladeshi TV actress took to Facebook on Monday informing her fans about the court order.
She wrote: “The court has ordered that the mother is the guardian of the daughter. I am so grateful to Almighty Allah.”
Referring to the court order, she on her Facebook post also stated: “The father can meet the daughter twice a month in the presence of her mother. However, the mother can always make the final decision over her daughter's upbringing.”
“The father has also been ordered to return the daughter’s passport,” she quoted the court order.
Azmeri Haque Badhon also expressed her gratitude toward advocate Dilruba Sharmin while she thanked all fans for staying with her during the difficulties.
Badhon cut her ties with husband Mashrur Hossain Siddiqi Sonet in 2014. However, the news surfaced in August last year after the actress filed a plea seeking the custody of their daughter. They got married in 2010.
The actress filed the case seeking full custody of her daughter on August 3, 2017.
Husband Mashrur Hossain Siddiqi Sonet, however, had brought a number of allegations against the small screen actress wife.
