Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.
According to a Met office bulletin, the monsoon land depression over Odisha and adjoining area moved westwards and now lies over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Gujrat and North Madhya Maharashtra as a land depression.
It is likely to move westwards and weakean gradually.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajsthan, the centre of the land depression, Odisha, Bihar to Assam across Gangetic West Bengal and central part of Bangladesh.
One of its associated troughs extends up to North Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over North Bay.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
