Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers throughout the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places in Rangpur and Sylhet divisions, at a few places in Chattogram, Mymensingh and Rajshahi divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions,” said a Met office press release.
Moderately heavy to heavy falls may also take place at some places in northern part of the country in 24 hours commencing 9 am today.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35. 8 degrees Celsius yesterday at Jashore in Khulna while today’s minimum temperature 24. 0 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 67 mm at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
