Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts light to moderate rain or thundershowers in some place across the country in 24-hour as of 9am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places in Khulna, Chattogram, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and
Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at some places over the country,” said a met office press release here this morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.4 degrees Celsius yesterday at Jashore in Khulna division while today’s minimum was temperature 23.5 degrees Celsius at Sylhet.
The highest rainfall in the last 24-hour as of 6am today was recorded 38mm at Kumarkhali in Khulna division, the release added.
The sun sets at 5:51 pm today and rises at 5:49 am tomorrow in the capital.
