Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted dry weather with light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind across the country in next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with
temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a met office release issued here this morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 36 degrees Celsius both at Khulna and Jashore while the lowest temperature was recorded 21.3 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur.
The maximum rainfall for the last twenty four hours till 6 am was recorded 03 millimeters (mm) at Nikli.
The sun sets at 5.42 pm today and rises at 5.52 am tomorrow in the capital.
