Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predict light rain or thundershowers at some places in three divisions with dry weather across the country in next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow, a met office release said today.
“Light rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions as weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky
elsewhere over the country until tomorrow morning,” it added.
Day temperature may rise 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 33 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur and minimum temperature today 17.8 degrees Celsius at Tetulia under Rangpur division, the release also said.
The highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded 14 millimeters (mm) at Cox’s Bazar.
The sun sets at 5.33 pm today and rises at 5.57 am tomorrow in the capital.
