The film made Rs 45 crore on its third day, bringing its total collection to Rs 114.93 crore. On its fourth day, it has made Rs 36 crore. It has crossed 150 crore, and is setting new benchmarks, reports Zeenews.
The spy-thriller, which is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster, Ek Tha Tiger, revolves around Salman as a RAW agent, and Katrina as a ISI (Inter-services Intelligence) agent, and their deadly mission to rescue 25 nurses, who have been held hostage by ISIS, a terrorist organisation.
Tiger Zinda Hai had already created a feverish amount of hype and buzz with its action-packed trailer and suave songs, before its release. Considering the number of bombs at the box-office this year, Salman Khan's film has been the perfect New Year cheer.
