Students of seven colleges affiliated with Dhaka University, who have been staging demonstration demanding re-evaluation of examination rule after a mass fail, have blocked Nilkhet intersection.
Hundreds of students of those seven colleges took to the street around 11 am today for a second consecutive day.
The first year students of 2017-18 session saw a mass fail in only one subject and as per the new policy, the students were not promoted to the second year despite securing a good score in the other subjects.
According to the policy, those who fail to secure CGPA-2, cannot appear for the improvement examination.
The students demanded that the policy should be re-evaluated and they should get the chances of appearing for the improvement examinations.
