A man has attempted suicide after reportedly killing his wife and daughter at Parnanduali village in the district following a family feud.
The deceased are--Punya Rani, 25, and her 10-month-old daughter Manob.
Confirming the news, Magura Additional Superintendent of Police Tarikul Islam said: "Being informed, police recovered the throat-slit bodies of the woman and her daughter from the rented house of Bitu Mazumder, 40."
"Police also rescued Bitu, who sustained injuries on throat following a suicide attempt, and admitted him to Magura Sadar Hospital," he added.
A case has been filed in this connection.
