Three men have been beaten to death by a mob over suspicion of stealing cattle in eastern India as police say.
According to the police, while trying to load a buffalo and a calf onto a lorry, the suspects were seized by the locals in the Bihar state.
This is the latest in a spate of "cow vigilante" attacks that have provoked alarm among religious minorities and socially underprivileged classes.
The cow is considered as a symbol of sanctity for the Hindu and that is why killing them is similar to sinning.
Following the incident of killing three people, later three of the villager were arrested in association with the lynching.
