Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, has been ranked the seventh-worst in the Air Quality Index (AQI).
According to Wednesday's reading, Dhaka had a score of 144 at 11:35 am, indicating that the quality was unhealthy.
The general public and sensitive individuals, in particular, are at risk to experience irritation and respiratory problems when the AQI value is between 101 and 150.
Malaysia’s Kuching, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore occupied the top three spots respectively.
