A number of college students and leaders and activists of various social and cultural organisations formed a human chain in front of Barguna press club in the morning protesting against ICC’s move to ban Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for two years.
Speakers at the programme said Shakib did not commit any crime and that it was unfair to give such a big punishment for a little mistake.
They alleged that a group is trying to destroy the cricket of Bangladesh.
